Well, I am going away for a few weeks. I have some great recipes planned for when I get back, but with all the packing and stressing, I haven't been taking enough photographs- so I will have to re-make and re-photograph all the dinners and desserts I have made in the past few weeks- which is by no means a bad thing! Since I tend to obsess and think about food for the better part of the day every day.

I love finger food. If I could eat every meal with my hands and not get chastized or made fun of I would. I strongly believe that hands make the best cutlery- they are perfect for mixing, testing, scraping and everything in-between. AND bonus: they are always there when we need them. No need to go searching for that spatula that keeps running away. We were given hands for a reason- Why not use them? (Just make sure they are clean of course)

Thunderstorms are one of my favourite things about the warmer months. I love a good torrential rain. I like it even better when it's followed by rainbows.

Since rainbows are not an everyday thing...why don't we make our own? Let's eat like the rainbow- Different colours of vegetables have different nutrients so it's good to eat a variety of colours.

And it's more fun. Food should be fun. It should make you smile.
